 O_o ... ... ...  Traditional media... XD It's been sooo long... doing this pic was like... crazy. XD Sooo many mistakes... Katara is like... 10 layers or so thick... (pencil, then colored pencil... then rotating layers of acrylic and pen.) 0_0 Believe it or not... her skin right now... Best version yet. -_- I know, saaaaad~ Lol. Ummm... oh yeah!  The 'colors' used here? ^_^ All tones of grey! Or... you know... black and white. Achromatic peeps! ^__^ Their skin tones are like... my light grey pen being extremely nice to me.  Well... you know.. before torturing me over Katara... Mmmmm~ swamp water was made with acrylic grey annnnd semi-fresh corn husks... which you can see... in person... but apparently not on camera... *Kicks camera* Oh! And tip to future corn husker...ers. Do not store fresh corn husks in a plastic bag and then leave them in said bad for a few days... the smell... *_* is not pleasant... And it takes a surprisingly long time to clean those dang things. They're like sponges!!!! #_# Buuut anyhoo, Katara's hair is colored pencil... and so are her clothes for that matter. Zuko's all pen... and the water... wave things... are just light grey acrylic and salt. Lots and lots of saaaaallllt~  ^^ I ran the pic through some filters in PS because... *eye twitches* the camera... just didn't help this poor excuse for a pic. *sighs* I'm turning it in tommorow... *grins* turning in ATLA fanart...   ATLA... making painful pics like this- worth every second. |
